Introducing... Betty!

We are proud to introduce our new guest blogger, the fabulous and infamous from Betty's Rock & Rollers.  Before she dives in with her first guest post we thought we'd let you chaps and chappesses know a bit more about her.
Thanks for joining our team on the blog Betty! Tell us a bit about Betty's Rock n'Rollers, and where we can find you..
Betty's Rock & Rollers is a business offering Hair & Makeup for special occasions that specialises in a Vintage Makeovers, Vintage Tutorials and workshops. it's a completely freelance business so we come to you in your home or venue.

How long have you been doing it?
I have been a qualified hairdresser for too many years to mention! (Chuckles) That then led on qualifying In makeup, then 3 years ago A name was given to the business and Betty's Rock & Rollers was founded.

Have you always been in to vintage?
I have always had a love for vintage and all things old for as long as I can remember, there's nothing like the feeling of nostalgia.

What's your favourite era?
mmm.... Favourite era, now that's a tricky one, I don't think I have a particular favourite, I would however pick a handful of things out of each era that are my personal choices in what makes that era interesting and endearing to me.

What's your all time favourite look to create for a client?
I honestly like creating all the different eras, variety is the spice of life! I love the satisfaction when you have created the desired look on a client, you hand them the mirror and you can see by their faces they feel like they have been transported back in time, you can't beat that feeling.

Anything else you want to tell our readers?
I'm very excited to be resident Vintage hair & makeup blogger for The Secret Vintage Fair, I have lots to share with you from top tips with hair and makeup to product reviews so watch this space! . . . . Vintage love . . . . Betty. . . . X

Thanks again Betty!  We are thrilled to have you on board! Look out later this week for her first guest post with us on creating the perfect vintage lip.
