Happy Anniversary to Us at FolkEast

Here at The Secret Vintage we are thrilled to be able to celebrate a successful year of fairs and vintage fun, so during the forthcoming bank holiday weekend (exactly a year since our first fair) on the 23rd-25th August we are going on tour to the Folk East festival at Glemham Hall.  

Folk East

Taking place in the glorious landscaped gardens at Glemham Hall, near Woodbridge, the festival offers an eclectic mix of innovative artists, featuring both traditional and contemporary folk music. In addition to the top caliber music on offer, there’s a full and varied programme of activities and events both on and off site. And new for this year is the vintage area- fetauring ourselves in the Secret Vintage Fair marquee, a vintage Tea Tent, and a vintage mobile cinema.

Something Special

We wanted to do something extra special to celebrate our first year anniversary, and teaming up with Folk East is a really exciting opportunity- not only can are we expecting the usual high quality vintage traders but we'll also get to be part of a fantastic local festival.  As with all our fairs we like to put something back into the local community, and so we’ll be running a prize draw with all proceeds going to support local causes in and around Little Glenham and Woodbridge. 

Plus we’ll be getting into the festival spirit – we’re staying in a beautiful camper van called Mrs Beeton from Custard Campers.  If you are down on the day and would like a tour of the camper van get in touch and we'll show you around (and we promise to tidy up first!) 

There’s no entry fee to come and see The Secret Vintage Fair, so once you're in the festival you can come straight in for a rummage for some vintage, upcycled or handmade treasures. Once again we have a vintage hair stylist on site too so there is no need to suffer from festival hair disasters!

Stallholders!
As always we have a a huge amount of interest from stallholders for the event however we have a bit more flexibility due to the nature of the space so if you are a stallholder and would like a last minute trading space with us get in touch with your credientials and we'll  add you to the the waiting list.

And if that's not enough for you- we're announcing our next CENTRAL COLCHESTER fair takes place on Saturday 30th November. Application forms for this fair go out this week so get in touch if you'e not already on our approved traders list. Email us now telling us all about your wares, and send links to your website or facebook page if possible!
